today was a fun and meaningful day. it was the 2nd time i played the nintendo wii. the game of boxing was fun, although i was clumsy, stupid, fought and lost the game. man~ i am not born to be a boxer lah! however, it was enjoyable both playing the game and watching people play the game. and dinner was nice too. the bbq chicken was superb.

visiting a church is not a new thing for me. i have been to a few churches. the reason i am scared about going to churches is the overly-friendly people, but today was fine for me. in addition, i have been studing in a catholic BOYS school for 10 years. yeah~ BOYS! i dont know what my parents were thinking when they sent me to a BOYS school. as a result, i never had any female friend until i entered jc. thats so LOL. i am always interested in the stories they share and the lessons behind each stories. very interesting and meaningful, although i am a buddhistly free-thinker. oh! did i mentioned before, i went to the cinema to watch "the passion of christ" before. some might be curious why a non-christian like me will go and watch this kind of movie. but i also dont know lei. haha. i can still remember in the old days when they shared stories and talked about verses in the bible everyday. hmm~ time really flies. i miss the dont-need-to-study-and-get-good-results days.

i heard a story today at a church that is quite meaningful and i would like to share with you:
one upon a time, there were this 2 brothers. in the olden days, the elder brother will have the heritance right. with this right, he was entitled to take the properties and money if the parents were to pass away. so there was this day, when the younger brother approached the elder brother and asked for a trade of a bowl of food with the heritance right. being greedy, the elder brother gave up his right in exchange with the food. as a result, he was end up with nothing.

moral of the story:
dont just look at the immidiate gains, think far. think of what will happen in the future before you make any decision. dont let what you decide ruin your life.

hope you guys can learn something from this story and try to apply in your lives...
